MONTHLY MEETINGS

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  • VOTER EDUCATION, REGISTRATION & MOBILIZATION

  • WORK FOR REENACTMENT OF MUNICIPAL LEGISLATION DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE EDUCATIONAL, POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC STATUS OF MINORITY GROUPS.

  • WORK TO REPEAL RACIALLY DISCRIMINATORY LEGISLATION.

  • KEEP THE UC BRANCH INFORMED OF PROPOSED LEGISLATION.

TOP 5 COMMITTEE NEEDS

  • Attend committee meetings

  • Attend Community Meetings

  • Make calls/emails (phone banking, outreach)

  • Outreach to schools/churches/community groups, Voter registration drive

CURRENT PROJECTS

  • Check voter registration status of at least 150 voters.

  • Register at least 50 new voters and influence 90% voter turnout.

  • Engage all UC voters on the VAN list.

  • Attend Community meetings

  • Submit at least 100 letters to each elected official in support or opposition to issues which impact our community.

  • Publish quarterly PAC newsletter and PAC Bulletins, as needed, to keep members informed.
